First, we acknowledge that our Sky Spirit Shamans program is situated on the traditional homelands of the Wašiw (Washo, Washeshu) and Numu (Northern Paiute). We honor and acknowledge them, as well as the other Nevada tribes, Newe (Western Shoshone) and Nuwu (Southern Paiute) Peoples, along with all Indigenous Peoples – past, present and future – of the Americas and of all the continents of Earth. All these lands are sacred to the Indigenous Peoples and we appreciation the opportunity to live, learn and enjoy their territories. We aspire, in some small way with the words that follow to honor them all, and to help co-create a more aware, just, and equality-based world going forward.
Sky Spirit Shamans integrates several strong wisdom traditions and healing modalities into one unique expression: Inca Medicine Wheel, Shamanic Healing, Usui/Holy Fire III and Karuna Reiki, Stargate Experience Meditations, and Life Coaching.
There is also a more mysterious weaving together that happens in our space. Indeed, there are so many wondrous mythic traditions connected with all the cultures of all the continents, and they all seem to point to certain core truths of the human condition and our evolution. We, as Sky Spirit Shamans, do not identify ourselves as or appropriate any one culture or tradition. Rather, we endeavor to experience the very Heart of Wisdom for the purpose of embodying as much of our unique soul-essence as possible and of walking our unique sacred paths of service during these extraordinary times of conscious evolution on planet earth.
Many of us came through the lens of mysteriously identifying with indigenous wisdom traditions and teaching, what I think of as "rainbow warriors," referring to innate wisdom carried over from other lifetimes. Gaining altitude in our search, we come to realize that we and everything else on earth is born in the life- and death-cycles of the stars. We are star-stuff -- who within our consciousness awaiting revelation -- hold the seeds of galactic shamanism, originating even before recorded history here on our Earth.
